Enhancements

  • The Idle Time (Min.) in Pharmacy Preferences has been extended to 20 minutes. This field continues to be uneditable as per New Brunswick Drug Information System (DIS) requirements.

  • In the Patient Folder Preferences tab, the Primary Language will be set as follows upon upgrade to Propel Rx 1.8 Postinstall 2:

    • If the Label and Leaflet Language are the same, the Primary Language will also be the same.

    • If the Label and Leaflet Language are different, the Primary Language will default to English.

Fixes

  • An error should no longer occur on the diem health app when a patient views their prescription history.

  • We fixed an auto-sizing issue that was causing the prescription instructions to print in small text on the Half and Thermal vial labels.

    Some longer instructions may be partially cut-off on the last line but still readable. Further adjustments to the text size on vial labels will be made in a future release.

  • When amending a reauthorized prescription, changes can now be saved in Rx Detail.

  • When a Compliance Pack prescription is reauthorized and placed on Hold, a prompt should no longer appear to enroll the prescription in Auto Refill.

  • The value in the V/W (Verbal/Written) field of Rx Detail should now be carried over for refills of narcotic prescriptions.

  • When a ReAuth prescription is rejected by a Third Party and then closed:

    • For inferred prescriptions, the Rx ID should not be cleared.

    • For pharmacist prescribed medications, duplicate Activate and Dispense messages should not be sent to the EHR upon filling the prescription again.

  • The Written Prescription accessed from Rx > Print should display the drug information associated with the selected prescription and not a historical prescription with the same prescription number.

  • We fixed an issue that was causing the Sync button to be disabled for eligible Patient Folders that were created prior to RTI activation.

  • When a ReAuth prescription is rejected by a Third Party and then closed, the Rx ID should not be cleared. Previously, this was an identified cause of duplicate dispenses without reversal.

  • When a prescription is processed in the background by a non-Pharmacist user, the linked Pharmacist should be transmitted as the author of the message to New Brunswick DIS.

  • If the Label Language in the Patient Folder is set to French, the instructions should automatically translate to French when opening a prescription in the Intake window or Rx Detail, without the user needing to click in the SIG field.

  • When a prescription that was originally filled in PharmaClik Rx has reached its Stop Date, the Abort message that's transmitted to New Brunswick DIS should no longer be rejected due to a missing reason code.

  • For pharmacies without POS integration, prescriptions should no longer land in the Pick Up/Delivery tile after completing Workflow.

    Prescriptions that were already in the Pick Up/Delivery tile prior to the upgrade must be manually cleared using the Pick Up button.
